| Sul sito della Macbeth è segnalato che hanno avuto problemi con il podcast, la loro intenzione era quella di fare un podcast video ma ancora non ci sono le tecnologie per farlo. Hanno inviato quindi il podcast audio a Real/Rhapsody che deve metterlo online, a quel punto potremmo ascoltarlo. Per ora è possibile vedere il video First Contact (scaricabile anche dalla sezione Media) che altro non è che la prima parte del podcast. | ||

"It's going to be a really big day for us, and for music," DeLonge said. "We're going to be introducing the band, playing some snippets from the movie and just kicking the whole thing off in general. I've been working on this project for 12 months now, so yeah, I'm pretty excited by the whole thing." "In January the single and video will drop and you'll see a whole new generation of Mods appearing everywhere, based on the kids in the '60s on their Vespas that were interested in modern living and modern fashion," he laughed. "I'm going to usher in this entire new culture of the youth, obsessed with the future. | so here is some news for you....First of all, anybody claiming they heard demos are full of shit. They are hearing old shitty recordings of blink, the music does not sound like blink or box car, so the speculation should end there. Second, the song to be released on December 13 is finished, but the label is too excited to release just a song, so at the last minute it got changed. Lets see, third, it isn't some depressing emo project, it is music that is described as.....well, the best stuff I have ever done.....too vague?....well, I promise my fans will like this the most out of everything I have been a part of, I promise it will give you a feeling of liberation, excitement, goose bumps.....and to help you understand come to angelsandairwaves.com on December 13th.......starting January 1st, the album will be finished, and the world...it will begin to spin just a little bit faster... Questo è il testo del video: "On this album, it's like gambling and you've lost almost everything and you have one dollar left. You know, are you going to bet it or are you going to you know just be safe. And uh this entire album is the absolute antithesis of being safe. It's absolute honesty for me, you know everytime i feel like i shouldn't do something or say something I just go **** it. This is the time to do it. The things that my fans knew of me, they're all completely still there. I still have the potty mouth. I haven't changed much at all. I still feel like the exact same person I was 10 years ago, except my ambitions are greater at this point. The only difference between me i think now then who i was before is that I know anything is possible. I don't know how to communicate for what i have been doing for this album, this movie, this entire new chapter of my life because it was such an ambitious gigantic leap of faith. Put a blindfold on and step off a cliff and have no idea what's going to happen. I'm just so excited, so excited for the simple reason that the sort of brief period of time when my heart was beating really fast. It felt like i was meant to do something great. I feel like i found it, and it was something completely unexpected. And uh, and I, I dunno who knows what's going to happen." |

| Into the Airwaves | ||
| Questa settimana c'è un articolo su Kerrang che parla del primo singolo: TOM DELONGE is getting ready to launch his new much-anticipated new band Angels and Airwaves. Althought DeLonge and his bandmates are still working on their debut album, which isn't expected to be released until April, an exclusive song will be made available through iTunes on December 20th. "We're going to release a six-and-a-half minute song, a trailer for the movie and possibly a video, as well," DeLonge tells Kerrang!. "It will all be available through iTunes. The Song is called 'Valkyrie Missile' and it's kind of a flagship track for the band. Choosing a song was hard for a day or two, because it will be the first thing people will hear, but we all came back to this one. It's really exciting and I can't wait for people to hear it." The bands official website - www.angelsandairwaves.com - will also launch on the same day and fans will be able to get hold of limited-edition T-shirts and see exclusive artwork on there. |
